Mario’s
Questions & Answers
Why’s it called Mario’s Hotel?
Because it’s Mario’s Hotel – Mario owns and runs
it, and welcomes you with Italian hospitality!
Can we get into the historical centre easily
from Mario’s Hotel?
Certainly, it’s a 10 minute walk to Brunelleschi’s Dome
or Piazza Signoria.
Do you offer business facilities?
Our modest hotel is too small to have conference rooms but is an
ideal accommodation for business clients due to its close proximity
to Santa Maria Novella Station and the Fortezza da Basso Exhibition
Centre, and you’re welcome to use our fax and photocopier.
Do you have internet access?
Unfortunately not, but there’s an internet café right
outside the hotel entrance. If you bring a modem you can connect
it to the outside telephone line in each room.
Can we arrange parking in advance?
Yes, just leave a note in the message box when you book
online and we’ll get back to you.
Do we have to pay a deposit to book a room?
No, your reservation is guaranteed by your credit card – if
you don’t show or fail to cancel we reserve the right to charge
you for the first night, otherwise you just pay the full amount
by any means you wish when you come to check out.
What time is check in and check out?
Check in is after 1pm, check out before 11am.
Can we leave our luggage with you if these times
are inconvenient?
Certainly.
Do you have disabled facilities?
We do what we can but because of the age of the building we’re
unable to install a lift. There are 18 steps up to the Hotel Mario.
Which languages do you speak?
Italian, English, Spanish, French and German.
Can we bring pets?
Within reason, yes. No lions or tigers please. |
